Tom M. Yeh, president, and Henri Chen, VP of R&D, have been in the thin-client business for years. In 1996, they, as project leaders of Wyse, developed the world’s first StrongARM-based network computer, which won BYTE magazine’s “Best Show” award in Comdex 96. In 1997, they, as senior managers of Umax, developed the word’s first and fastest StrongARM-based Windows terminal, which won BYTE magazine’s “Must-See” award in Cebit 98
