The mission of the Office of Student Affairs is to create a climate which promotes the personal and intellectual development of students. By providing programs, services, and educational experiences, the Office of Student Affairs promotes the academic success of NTHU students and enhances the quality of campus life. These programs and services are geared toward supporting the mental, social, and physical growth and development needs of our students in a healthy, safe, and intellectually-challenging environment. The Office serves as a primary link between students, faculty, and the administration of the University.

  The Office is a general resource for students and will advocate for students when appropriate. Staff in the Office often help develop, articulate, disseminate and enforce University rules, regulations, and policies.

  The Dean of the Office of Student Affairs works directly with students to help solve problems and to assist in individual and group crisis management. Students are encouraged to visit staff in the office to discuss ideas, personal issues, or general concerns about student life at NTHU.
