On completion of this unit successful students have been able to:
‧understand basic concepts in political rhetoric;
‧apply rhetorical concepts to public policy analysis;
‧analyse rhetoric in their chosen policy cases;
‧analyse and critique the use of social science research in policy argumentation;
‧develop rhetorical strategies for political advocacy.
